GE 13th?

The country will go into 13th General Election (GE13) within the next 4 months or so. Have you prepared for the new form of governance or continue with the present system? I had talks with some of my contemporaries and their views vary. One of the said to my surprise with a tone of fear. " I don't want the repeat of the history 43 years ago" Another said THAT "Old or new governance it will be the same." The third man said with firm assertion " We must change." So just as we have been reading in the news media since the government lost 4 states in the last GE12, the country is very uncertain of where it is heading and what the people really think about the country until perhaps recently. Security of each ethnic group should not be put in jeopardy and that the educational system of the country should not be pawned for just one group of race but should be continued as it has been laid down by our forefathers while seeking independence. No particular race should presume only its race is supreme or above anyone else. Politics of race and religion is a very sensitive matter are brought to the fore. For the extreme group to raise its prominence is just like telling others to shut up and leave them to run the country as they like. So with too much power under one race is tantamount to deprive others of their rights of the country constitutions. From such imbalance of power by one race would render the country into totalitarian rule and abuse of executive authority that can lead to the destruction of peaceful nation as a whole hence chaos. Such unwarranted authority would lead to the flourish of clique and cronies. With the birth of these ills the country could be landed in disharmony and tension of dissatisfaction and dissent. Animosity exists and hatred begins. Abuse of power could lead to severe corruptions and protectionism towards the cronies who abuse monatorily and materially creating unhappiness to the lower income groups and the have nots. It is thus the leader who should make it right before it is too late. Good leader should rectify the wrongdoings of his subordinates and bring to face the consequences rather than let the cancer enlarge unless he is himself involved in the matter that cannot be known by the citizens of his own country.
