Exotic Food in Skun Cambodia

Phnom Penh is a capital city of Cambodia or Kampuchea as the locals call it. It has a very diverse populations comprising of the natives, Chinese and foreigners. The country allows free religious belief and the government does not discriminate against any of its citizens. They are allowed free assess to what they want such as educations etc. There are a considerable number of private institutions that use English as a teaching medium. More Chinese schools are also coming up where the ethnic Chinese parents who lost their mother tongue place their children to study the Mandarin language. The Chinese dialects spoken are mainly Teowchew and Hokkien in Phnom Penh. The foods are indeed full of varieties ranging from local simple loveable tastes to the continental culinary. Pizzas and KFC are abound and there would not pose any problem for your culinary pleasure. The frying food is not popular here. They take mainly noodles with pork or beef. Driving further towards north taking National Highway 6, towards Kampong Thom, passing through many small towns where the tourist buses would stop for rest and lunch is a town called Skun. This place has its special exotic food ranging from birds and chicken fried the Khmer style, there are additional special additional ones. They are the grasshoppers, crickets and spider that have been fried with tasty additives.
